Jalla Jalla, Geh ma! is a discursive theatrical tour through Helfenberg’s newly found multicultural identity. The project was conceived by refugees stationed in Helfenberg, the local amateur theatre group and directed and led by Philipp Ehmann.
The aim of the project was to provide a possibility for refugees to engage creatively with stories, connect to the local population and start a dialogue in the village.
This project was awarded the 2016 Dr. Rudolf Kirchschläger-Preis for socially innovative projects.
